Jiangsu's H1 trade grows 10% to $391b
East China's Jiangsu province, one of the country's major foreign trade hubs, saw robust foreign trade growth in the first half of this year, local Customs authorities said on Wednesday. Jiangsu's import and export volume rose by 10 percent year-on-year to 2.64 trillion yuan ($391.3 billion) from January to June, accounting for 13.3 percent of the country's total. Exports rose 12.3 percent year-on-year to 1.66 trillion yuan, while imports jumped 6.2 percent to 973.7 billion yuan.
Daqing Oilfield natural gas output rises
Daqing Oilfield, a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corp, produced over 2.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the first half, up by 406 million cubic meters over the same period last year, the company said.
