Selection Notice for Electricity Interconnection Facility (EIF) of PATUAKHALI 1320 (2X660) MW COAL FIRED THERMAL POWER PLANT

I.Basic information

1. Selector: Consortium of TEPC-CHEC-CWEC

2. Construction site: The project is located in Boduakali County, special zone of Barisal, southern city of Bangladesh.

3. Project Introduction：The project aims to construct the Electricity Interconnection Facility of PATUAKHALI 1320 (2X660) MW COAL FIRED THERMAL POWER PLANT.

4. Scope of Selection: The design of the new-built 400kV Amtoli power substation and supporting line project, procurement and transportation of equipment and materials, construction preparation, civil engineering, installation, commissioning, test run, and defect treatment.

II. Qualification of Offeror

1. The offeror shall be legally and financially independent and able to operate legally, with legal person status and the ability to independently enter into contracts.

2. The offeror shall bear a good business reputation and have received good comments from users during past contract performances.

3. The offeror shall bear a good financial position and possess enough working capital to undertake the manufacture and supply of equipment in the contract.

4. The offeror has completed a Bangladesh power transmission and distribution project of the same/similar voltage level and the project has been running for over 3 years; and the offeror has experience of Bangladesh power transmission and distribution of the same/similar voltage level in the most recent 3 years.

5. All parties who voluntarily form a joint venture shall meet the corresponding qualifications listed in articles 1-3 above.

III. Registration for selection

1. Registration time: From July 21 to July 24, 2022 (9:00 am to 16:00 pm Beijing time), overdue registrations will not be accepted.

6. The materials required for registration shall include: quotation application letter, contact person and contact information during quotation, letter of authorization of legal representative, business license and relevant performance for the last three years.

IV. Time to issue the request for quotation

The request for quotation will be sent to the qualified offerors by email before 17:00 pm on July 24, 2022, and the closing time for quotations is 10:00 am on Aug 15, 2022, Beijing time.
