ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

The Ritz-Carlton Xi'an launched a 12-day promotional event in celebration of its third anniversary in June, offering discounts in room, catering, spa, fitness and wedding services. The hotel opened at a business district in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on June 30, 2019. This year's celebrations culminated with a gala night on June 30. In cooperation with French perfume brand Juliette Has A Gun for the celebration party, the hotel offered guests a variety of culinary delights, such as local cuisine, barbecue, desserts and cocktails.

GRAND OPENINGS

Courtyard Changchun opened its doors at the end of June, marking the debut of the Courtyard brand in the capital of Northeast China's Jilin province. Situated in the heart of the Auto Economic and Technological Development Zone, the new hotel has easy access to the city's transport network, including subway, coach, railway and flight services.

Two new hotels-Tianjin Marriott Hotel National Convention and Exhibition Center, and Four Points by Sheraton, Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center-opened on June 29. With a direct entrance to the Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center, a key venue in the North China city to host events, the hotels are next to a metro station. The Tianjin Binhai International Airport and Tianjin Railway Station are both within a 30-minute drive.

WEDDING SHOW

Partnering with a host of top fashion brands, W Xiamen, a stylish hotel in the coastal city of East China's Fujian province, has held a wedding show, bringing new experiences to engaged couples. With modern equipment and a professional wedding designer team, as well as spacious venues for meetings and events, the hotel said it could create unforgettable moments for wedding ceremonies and honeymoon trips.

VIRTUAL EXPLORATION

Moxy Hotels announced the start of a branding event designed for its Asia-Pacific market in late June, with five hotels in four Chinese cities-Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing and Xi'an-becoming the first participating properties. Via a link on Moxy Hotels' socializing platform, guests can create their avatar according to their personal preferences. After check-in, they can travel with their avatars in a virtual world. The event will last until December.

SWISS SKIN CARE

The Ritz-Carlton Nanjing has incorporated Swiss Perfection skin care products into its spa offering. The hotel invited Liu Jie, a trainer from the Swiss brand, to share the features of the products and skin care expertise earlier this month.
