Adequate solvency for insurance sector
China's insurance sector maintained steady performance and reported adequate solvency in the first quarter, the country's banking and insurance regulator said. The average comprehensive solvency ratio of the 180 insurers reviewed by a regulatory meeting was 224.2 percent by the end of March, and their average core solvency ratio was 150 percent, said the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission.
Road logistics price index up in June
China's road logistics price index rose 2.6 percent in June from a year ago as the country's economy further recovered and market demand rebounded, industry data showed. The index came in at 102.7 last month, edging up 0.1 percent on a monthly basis, according to a survey jointly conducted by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the Guangdong Lin'an Logistics Group.
