World's largest waterlily discovered

        Researchers at London's Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, have discovered the world's largest waterlily.
The plant, which has been at Kew for 177 years, has been revealed as a species new to science, and breaks the record for the largest in the world, with leaves as large as three meters across, in the wild.
