Guo Wei said the trend of new era features data consumption, as China had 1.03 billion internet users in 2022, and an average user spent 28.5 hours on the internet each week compared to 16.9 million netizens and 16 hours each user spent on the internet per week in 2000.

Guo preferred to think this is the start of the digital civilization.
