World Bank downgrades 2022 global growth forecast to 2.9%

WASHINGTON - The global economy is on track to grow by 2.9 percent in 2022, down 1.2 percentage points from January projection, the World Bank Group said in its latest Global Economic Prospects released on Tuesday, warning of stagflation risk.
