Israeli troops kill 1 in refugee camp clashes
Israeli troops killed a Palestinian man during clashes in a refugee camp in the West Bank on Thursday, the Palestinian health ministry said. The fighting rocked the Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem, a ministry statement said, identifying the dead man as Ayman Muhaisen, 29. The Israeli military said forces operating in the refugee camp were pelted with rocks and explosive devices, but didn't elaborate on the kind of explosives. The troops responded with live fire. The death was the third within 24 hours after a woman was shot on Wednesday, and a man was killed in an Israeli raid later that day.
