Protesters rally against NRA convention after school shooting

More than a thousand people showed up in Discovery Green outside of the site where the NRA annual meeting is being held May 27-29 in downtown Houston.

Three days ago the school shooting in a Texas Uvalda elementary school killed 19 kids and 2 teachers. The NRA annual meeting sign taunting "14 Acres of Guns and Gears" met with protesters' signs such as "Ban Assault Weapons!", "Am I the Next". Protesters shouted at NRA members going in and out of the meeting venue "Shame!".
