BGI Makes its First Appearance at the ECCMID 2022 in Portugal

BGI Genomics joined the 32nd European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) in Lisbon, Portugal, to showcase its comprehensive infectious disease solutions from Apr 23-26, 2022.
The ECCMID event gathers worldwide experts and industry partners in various fields to present their latest findings, products, and experiences.

At the event, BGI showcased comprehensive solutions for infectious disease prevention, detection, and control, from detection kits to platforms to high-throughput mobile solutions.

BGI offers a full set of nucleic acid detection solutions and platforms. The PCR, antigen, and NGS-based detection kits shown at the event have received CE certification, and the PM Easy Lab is BGI’s latest point-of-care testing (POCT) device. The combinations can conduct effective detections of respiratory, central nervous system, blood stream infections, and bacterial resistance genes.

BGI’s Huo-Yan Air Laboratory is a high-throughput mobile solution which can be set up rapidly. It was specially created to assist the global fight of the Covid-19.
