World Bank: Higher food and energy prices could last until 2024

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has had a major impact on global commodity markets, leading to a surge in food and energy prices that is expected to last until the end of 2024 and could hamper global economic growth, the World Bank said Tuesday in its latest Commodity Markets Outlook report.
