100 images of ICU care inspires professionals and patients alike

Nutrition company Nutricia (Wuxi) Co Ltd supported a public welfare activity in Beijing in a bid to further encourage medical professionals in China to record critical moments in intensive care units to raise public awareness.
Launched by the Newspaper for China's Physicians, the activity called for the capturing of 100 critical moments in China's ICUs. The organizing purpose of the activity is to offer more care for medical professionals and patients in this very special yet critical place in hospitals.
By the end, 150 submissions had been received. The event concluded with an award ceremony for the Top 10 Excellent Works that was held at the 7th Annual Conference of Medical Scientists.
"I sincerely hope that the photos can be displayed widely so that the public can better know the work that takes place in the ICU, better understand intensive care medicine and have more trust in ICU staff members," said Chen Dechang, designated committee chairman of the Chinese Society of Critical Care Medicine.
