Legend Holdings urged to boost transparency
China's securities regulator on Thursday ordered Legend Holdings to rectify information disclosure issues. Legend Holdings failed to file timely, complete and accurate disclosures regarding certain information, the Beijing bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission said in a statement on its website. Legend Holdings said in a filing that it attaches great importance to the matter and will rectify problems as soon as possible.
Renminbi strengthens against greenback
The central parity rate of the renminbi, or the yuan, strengthened 212 pips to 6.3540 against the US dollar on Thursday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System.
