Business climate in Boadi district seen improving

Baodi district in northern Tianjin, a hub of Beijing, Tianjin and Tangshan, Hebei province, has seen steady improvement in its business climate, evidenced by a surge in market entities and easy access to government services.
The district is now home to 75,000 market players, surging 23 percent year on year, indicating the increasing market vitality.
"Last year, we made a three-year plan on improving business environment, and it proved very effective in clarifying responsibility,” said Li Jian, deputy head of the district. “We have upgraded the plan and sent official members to help perfect business environment at 180 pilot companies.”
The district has pressed ahead with market-oriented reforms and the reform of the government’s own functions. Through them, many administrative approval items have been canceled and government services can be accessed easily. They can now be accessed inter-provincially, online or through cellphone apps, with no need for physical visits.
The district has witnessed the benefits brought by the improvements.
In 2021, the output value of the major industries of power batteries, intelligent equipment and auto parts increased by 21.4 percent, and the total output value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 18 percent.
The Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park has a total of 600 registered enterprises.
