Shanghai's 2nd phase lockdown starts in Puxi

Areas in Shanghai located to the west of the Huangpu River were locked down starting at 3am on Friday, marking the start of the second phase of the city’s efforts to stem the spread of COVID-19 through mass testing.
During the lockdown, which will last until 3 am next Tuesday, all residents in these areas are required to stay at home.
