London-Singapore flight turns back after take-off

A Singapore Airlines flight travelling from London to Singapore turned back shortly after it took off on Friday due to "vibrations" on one of its Boeing 777-300ER's engines

A total of 225 passengers and 18 crew were on board.

Flight SQ305 were faced with some technical issues shortly after take-off from London, said SIA in response to queries from CNA.

The flight later safely landed at London's Heathrow Airport.
