Suspected shots fired from rocket launchers

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea fired four suspected shots from its multiple rocket launchers on Sunday, reported Yonhap News Agency, citing unnamed Republic of Korea military officials. The short-range shots were launched from an unspecified area in South Pyongan Province toward the western waters over an hour from 7:20 am local time. Presidential spokesperson Park Kyungmee said in a written statement that the National Security Council held an emergency vice-ministerial meeting over the incident, according to the presidential Blue House. 6 confirmed killed after car crashes into crowd

Six people died and 10 were seriously injured after a car slammed into a group of carnival revelers in a village of southern Belgium early Sunday morning, local authorities told a news conference. A judicial inquiry is underway but the authorities said the attack did not appear to have a terrorist motive. The group, which consisted of 150 to 200 people, had just left a sports hall to head toward the center of the village in the city of La Louviere.
