Fiscal revenue rises in Jan-Feb
China's general public budget revenue reached 4.62 trillion yuan ($727 billion) in the first two months, up 10.5 percent year-on-year, the Ministry of Finance said on Friday. The ministry said factors like the economic recovery and the high factory-gate price inflation helped drive up the growth of the country's fiscal revenue. Late last year, the ministry funneled 1.46 trillion yuan from the 2022 quota of special bonds to local governments in advance. As at the end of February, 877.5 billion yuan of local government special bonds had been issued, accounting for over 60 percent of the advance quota.
