China is deeply concerned about the current situation in Ukraine and sincerely hopes that peace will soon be restored, Premier Li Keqiang said on Friday.
While meeting the press after the conclusion of the fifth session of the 13th National People's Congress, Li said China has always followed an independent foreign policy of peace and has never targeted third parties in developing bilateral ties.
"We want to develop cooperation with all countries on the basis of mutual respect and mutual benefit to bring greater stability to today's world," he said.
