The Wheelchair Curling team topped the podium following a 6-5 triumph over Norway in the gold medal match after extra time. This victory was also seen as a boost for winter Para sports in the country.

China will send 96 athletes to this week's 2022 Beijing Paralympic Winter Games, its largest-ever participation in the event. This marks China's sixth appearance at the Winter Paralympics.
