State Grid Tianjin Electric Power has issued 30 measures for boosting power services for industries and residents, as well as cutting carbon emissions this year.

Power services in Tianjin have been significantly improved. In 2021, related time and costs were markedly cut, saving users nearly 2.21 billion yuan($348.67 million) in power costs.

Last November, Tianjin resident Liu Jinwei built a new greenhouse and applied for a larger supply of power. A staff member came to investigate and Liu’s application was completed the next day. Liu 's experience reflects the company’s continuous improvement to live up to residents ‘expectations.

"The staff of the power company visited us many times to help secure power supplies. Our needs for power in all phases have been met with no delay," said Gao Chunlin, manager of China Telecom’s Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Big Data Center project. He said he is confident about power transmission and production during the second and third phases of the project.

Guaranteeing power is a key part of services for enterprises. State Grid Tianjin Electric Power will undertake docking, service and integration upgrades this year, as well as launch 10 new measures for enterprises.

This year, the company will insist on a green and low-carbon development philosophy, as well as launch 10 new measures for carbon emission reduction, including promoting the implementation of UHV projects and building a carbon neutral center.
