Team China win freestyle skiing mixed team aerials silver medal at Beijing 2022

Xu Mengtao, Jia Zongyang and Qi Guangpu of Team China won the silver medal in the freestyle skiing mixed team aerials final with 324.22 points at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games at Genting Snow Park A & M Stadium in Zhangjiakou, North China's Hebei province on Thursday.

Team USA pocketed the gold with 338.34 points while Team Canada had the bronze.

Xu, Jia and Qi all completed their moves well in the air, but the landing of Jia became the turning point of the competition. Instead of touching the ground with his skis and sliding to the end, he flipped forward first, which cost him a lot of points. Fortunately Jia recovered and didn't get injured.
