Xi meets world leaders on sidelines of Beijing Games

President Xi Jinping had separate meetings with world leaders in Beijing on Saturday, on the sidelines of the ongoing Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

With Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi

Xi called for joint efforts to build the China-Egypt community with a shared future in the new era.

Xi said that China and Egypt have further consolidated political mutual trust and achieved fruitful results in practical cooperation with highlights in joint fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The China-Egypt comprehensive strategic partnership has become a model of solidarity, cooperation and mutual benefit between China and Arab, African and developing countries, Xi said. (Read more)
