FDA authorizes Pfizer booster shot for 12-to-15-year-olds

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Monday authorized the use of booster shots of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 12 to 15. The agency shortened the time frame for a booster shot from six months to five months for people after they have received the second Pfizer shot.
