First staff support center for Olympics opens

The Yanqing Uniform and Registration Subcenter began operating recently, issuing the first batch of identity accreditation cards and uniforms for Olympic staff members, local authorities said.
Staff from the National Sliding Center in Yanqing arrived at 10am on Tuesday, and after a safety check, temperature measurement, and code scanning, each received light, warm and comfortable uniforms.
The Yanqing subcenter is the first Winter Olympics venue in Beijing's Yanqing district to start its official run. It's a non-competition venue responsible for the distribution of uniforms and the accreditation of staff, volunteers and technical officials for the 2022 Games, authorities said.
During the Games, the subcenter will issue around 20,000 identity cards and distribute 71,200 uniforms to some 4,000 people from two competition venues and four non-competition venues in the Yanqing competition zone.
