CNOOC reaches natural gas milestone

China National Offshore Oil Corp, the country's top offshore oil and gas driller, said on Wednesday that China's first self-operated gas field, Shenhai Yihao, has produced 10 million cubic meters of natural gas so far. With over 100 billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves, the field has an annual production capacity of 3 billion cubic meters, it said.

Wind farm starts operations in Jiangsu

The last phase of China's first offshore wind power project with foreign investment has started supplying electricity in the sea off Dongtai, Jiangsu province. The last phase of the project has an installed capacity of 200 megawatts and 50 wind turbines. The project is jointly developed by China Energy and France's EDF Group.
