Symphony concert celebrates China-ROK ties

At the 2021 World Manufacturing Convention, which kicked off on Friday in Hefei, Anhui province, the event's guest of honor — the Republic of Korea — brought more than just opportunities in economic cooperation.
As part of the convention, the fourth since 2018, the ROK Culture Week began on Friday in the provincial capital with a series of cultural events.
One of the most important events is the Night of Symphony Exchange Between China and ROK, which was held on Saturday night in the Hefei-based Anhui University of Arts.
Co-organized by the Korean Culture Center in Shanghai and Anhui Orchestra, performers played renowned works of music from both countries.
Kim Seung-ho, consul general of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, said that as economic and trade cooperation forms the foundation for developing mutual relations, cultural exchanges can bring people's hearts closer together.
