Reverse repos net 100b yuan
The People's Bank of China, the central bank, on Thursday injected 100 billion yuan ($15.59 billion) into the financial system via seven-day, 2.2 percent reverse repos, to keep liquidity stable.
CGNPC Uranium's JV enters key stage
CGNPC Uranium Resources Co Ltd, a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Group, said on Thursday that its joint venture with Kazakh uranium producer NAC Kazatomprom JSC, Ulba-FA LLP, has entered the nuclear fuel assembly production phase. CGNPC Uranium Resources Co Ltd has a 49 percent stake in the joint venture while Kazatomprom has the rest. The project will supply 200 tons of uranium for fuel assemblies per year for 20 years in China. China General Nuclear Power Group said it has also been carrying out in-depth cooperation with Kazatomprom in the fields of uranium resources exploration, natural uranium trade and nuclear fuel pellet processing.
