Tea industry booms as healthy lifestyles more valued in China

Having a cup of tea has become an indispensable part of people's lives in China and the development of the tea industry has boomed as more people value healthy lifestyles.

Hundreds of tea merchandisers have been drawn to a tea expo in Jinan, East China's Shandong province.

Exhibitors wearing costumes make Chinese tea on the spot, as visitors listen to traditional Chinese music played on guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument, while having a cup of Chinese tea.
