Ski resort opens in China's extreme north

China's northernmost ski resort, the Arctic Ski Resort in Mohe, Heilongjiang province, welcomed its first visitors on Wednesday.

The event attracted over 300 ski enthusiasts and tourists to enjoy the snow and celebrate the 100-day countdown to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

The resort, located at the northern tip of China, offers a range of entertainment choices for tourists, such as tug-of-war, curling and snowmobile riding.

Tourists can enjoy a long ski season that will last through April.
