Documentary on overseas Chinese medical pioneer 'Doc Hay' wins film festival award

"Kam Wah Chung", a documentary about Chinese Americans who overcame cultural and racial barriers in the late 19th century, has won the Best Documentary award at this year’s New York State International Film Festival, beating out 346 entries from around the world.
