Common coffee dream connects Ethiopians, Chinese

A common coffee dream has connected the hearts of people in Ethiopia, a major coffee manufacturer, and China, one of the main importers of coffee from Ethiopia.
Coffee planters from Ethiopia aim to provide quality coffee beans to China, while baristas from China work to serve up the best African coffee to Chinese consumers.
The efforts of people from the two nations are gradually making their common dreams come true, thanks to new promotional methods such as livestreaming.
Jing Jianhua, a barista and coffee shop manager in Changsha, Central China's Hunan province, has imported a large amount of coffee beans from Ethiopia.
Jing not only sells coffee in his shop but also provides training and equipment for coffeemaking.
Ethiopia, which has exported an average of 200,000 tons of coffee annually over the past decade, has seen coffee beans gain greater popularity in China, reflecting the huge potential of African products in the Chinese market.
