Liu said they had done random themes in the past, but now they use more Chinese elements.
"We are more than happy to see the villagers' smiling faces," he said, noting that he and Xu were born in small villages in Yunnan province and have deep love for rural areas.
They are planning to go back to their hometowns to do some more wall paintings in the near future.
