Septiba, a 300,000-ton floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) ship, is berthed at Tianjin Port on July 25, 2021, where it will undergo module connection and adjustment for about one year. After the connection and adjustment, the ship will become a floating oil refinery for oil importing, processing and storage. The superlarge ship is 341.39 meters long and 76.70 meters wide. Its primary deck is about as large as 3.5 football fields. Septiba can process 180,000 tons of crude oil per day, and store up to 2 million barrels. Its largest displacement reaches 460,000 metric tons. As the first FPSO project in Tianjin, it will help fill in gaps in the FPSO business in the area. [Photo/Sipa]
