DIVERSE SHOWCASE
The ninth Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo opened earlier this month, bringing together virtual and physical exhibitions to support tourism and related industries. The Tibet autonomous region witnessed a strong recovery in tourism in the first half of this year, according to local authorities. It recorded 17.58 million trips made by visitors during the period, up 110.9 percent year-on-year, while its tourism revenue rose by 138.1 percent to 17.95 billion yuan ($2.8 billion). The opening of the Lhasa-Nyingchi railway, Tibet's first electrified railway, on June 25 has injected new vitality into the development of Tibetan tourism, officials said.

The pair will launch a plant-based menu concept across Accor-branded hotels as part of a step toward the two parties' commitment to bringing gastronomic modernization to the culinary scene across China, according to their statement.
