Chinese acrobats celebrated in photo exhibition

The Chinese Acrobatics Association is running a photo exhibition to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its founding at the mansion of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

The photos show the history of acrobatics developed since the Republic of China era. Acrobatics has developed from an old folk art to the contemporary art form that entertains people from both home and abroad. Chinese acrobats have been invited to perform stunts at international festivals and companies.

The celebration also includes seminars by renowned acrobats and directors and a gala performance at Poly Theatre.
