Henry Lim Bon Liong is the face behind the Sterling Paper brand with businesses in property, food and the call center industry. Lim is a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. He is the eldest son of Chinese migrant Lim She Leng from Fujian, China, and Maria Co Chiao Ti. Lim founded SL Agritech Corporation in 2000, creating the first Philippine tropical hybrid rice variety SL-8H. He became president of the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry in 2019.
