Land-sea freight trips surge in first half
Western China has seen 2,705 trips via its land-sea freight route in the first half of the year, up 112 percent year-on-year, according to China Railway Nanning Group Co Ltd. In all, 269,000 twenty foot equivalent units-TEUs-have been handled on the route between January and June, up 319 percent year-on-year, the company said. The freight route is part of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, a trade and logistics passage jointly built by western Chinese regions and Singapore.
CNOOC completes delivery of tanker
China National Offshore Oil Corp has finished the delivery of the country's first 15,000-ton dynamically positioned shuttle tanker North Sea Hope on Wednesday. This marks a milestone for the country's ultra-deep-water oil and gas field utilization, CNOOC said.
