A report in the Khmer Times said Lianhua Qingwen capsules have been used in several designated hospitals treating COVID-19 patients in Cambodia.

The combined application of a COVID-19 vaccine and TCM's Lianhua Qingwen capsules has played an important role in curtailing the COVID-19 pandemic, Cambodia's health minister, Mam Bunheng, said in an interview with the Khmer Times.

"COVID-19 patients have seen improvement after taking Lianhua Qingwen capsules, which help hold off the onset of severe symptoms," he was quoted as saying.

According to Yiling Pharmaceutical, producer of the capsules in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province, the medicine has been approved and registered in more than 20 countries and regions worldwide, including Canada, Russia, Singapore, the Philippines and Kenya.
