Israel becomes first country to offer COVID-19 booster shot

Israel on Monday began offering a third dose of Pfizer and BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine to adults with weakened immune systems, the Israeli Health Ministry made the announcement on Sunday. Israel has become the first country in the world to offer a booster shot to curb the spreading of Delta variant.
