Daqing Oilfield output of crude, gas grows
In the first half of this year, Daqing Oilfield, a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corp, produced over 14.92 million metric tons of crude oil, up by 45,800 tons year-on-year. It also produced 2.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas, up by 175 million cubic meters year-on-year. Daqing Oilfield is one of China's largest oil production bases.
Hunan foreign trade soars in Jan-May
The foreign trade volume of Central China's Hunan province exceeded 211 billion yuan ($32.7 billion) in the first five months of this year, up 25.9 percent year-on-year, according to local authorities. Exports exceeded 143 billion yuan and imports reached nearly 68.1 billion yuan, respectively, up 29.5 percent and 18.8 percent year-on-year, the Hunan provincial commerce department said. The province's private companies posted strong performance during the period, with their imports and exports reaching nearly 157 billion yuan.
