China's diplomacy website launched
Internet users around the world can now get access to information on China's latest diplomatic measures as well as Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy by browsing an informative website launched on Monday.
The information portal, China's Diplomacy in the New Era, can be accessed at www.chinadiplomacy.org.cn.
With its slogan of "A better way to understand China", the website serves as an official platform to introduce and popularize Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy.
It is currently available in Chinese and English, and other language versions are planned.
The website was co-created by the China Internet Information Center under the China International Publishing Group and the leading think tank, the China Institute of International Studies, which is also home to the Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy Studies Center.
Its operations are guided by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Foreign Ministry.
The website collates important foreign affairs activities, remarks, statements and signed articles of Xi, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, since the 18th National Congress of the CPC in 2012. For example, it contains the full text of his video speech to the Global Health Summit on May 21 this year.
It has literature and studies that focus on Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, and Xi's quotes and books are available at the website, which has a user-friendly design.
One of its columns, "Diplomatic Timeline", features a dynamic online map that presents the footsteps of Xi's wide-ranging diplomatic activities including visits abroad and key international and regional meetings.
The website constantly updates the latest news and information about China's diplomacy.
