China and India should and could bring their ties back on the right track, experts from both countries have said in comments to China Daily.

Han Hua, professor of international studies at Peking University, said the two Asian powers should address problems through dialogues.

Swaran Singh, professor at the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, said: “There is hope that India can go back to its traditional equilibrium of multi-alignments and strategic autonomy.” He also said China and India should not worry about temporary drifts and the two countries can streamline bilateral relations for the benefits of not only their people but also global health and development issues in the post-pandemic era.
