Crayfish a fortunate catch for Central China's Hubei province

After two decades of exploration and development, Qianjiang city of Central China's Hubei province has established a whole industrial chain and technical standards system for integrated crayfish and rice farming. The city had 566.67 square kilometers of crayfish-rice farming areas by the end of 2020, with annual production revenue at 52 billion yuan ($8.12 billion).
Qianjiang city currently has the largest crayfish processing enterprise clusters nationwide, with products exported to more than 30 countries and regions, according to a Xinhua report.
