New round of Iran nuclear talks begins

Indirect talks between Teheran and Washington on reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal resumed in Vienna. The sixth round of talks began as usual with a meeting of the remaining parties to the deal-Iran, Russia, China, France, Britain, Germany and the European Union-in the basement of a luxury hotel. The US delegation to the talks is based in a hotel across the street as Iran refuses face-to-face meetings. The top Iranian negotiator, Abbas Araqchi, suggested it was unlikely the talks would conclude before Iran's presidential election on Friday.

Bones indicate 17 victims of serial killer

Investigators digging under the house of a suspected serial killer on the outskirts of Mexico City said on Saturday they have found 3,787 bone fragments so far, apparently belonging to 17 victims. Prosecutors in the state of Mexico, which borders Mexico City, suggested the grisly finds may not end there. The excavations have been carried out since May 17. ID cards and other possessions suggest the trail of killings may go back years. The suspect, identified by prosecutors only as "Andres", was formerly a butcher and sectioned and filleted his last victim.
