Official stresses CPC leadership in advancing 'one country, two systems'

During the same event, Leung Chun-ying, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference said the Party has set the precedent of peacefully resolving territorial and sovereignty issues left over by history, with the principle of "one country, two systems". It also set an example in regard to the rule of law and democracy, he said.
