Suspected terrorists kill over 100 in village
More than 100 civilians were killed and dozens wounded by suspected terrorists in a village in northern Burkina Faso, media reports on Saturday said. Terrorists raided the village of Solhan in the province of Yagha, killing villagers, burning homes and the market, the country's official news agency AIB said. The death toll could rise, AIB quoted government sources as saying. The country's Forces of Defense and Security had launched a search operation to find those responsible for the attack, it said. Following the killings, President Roch Marc Christian Kabore declared national mourning of 72 hours from Saturday to Monday.

Car park shooting leaves 2 dead, 2 injured
Two men were killed and a man and a woman injured in a shooting in a car park in the northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana, early on Saturday. Police responded to a report of shots fired just after 2 am and found four people shot, local media reported. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, and another man died shortly after being taken to hospital. The injured man and woman were taken to hospital and were in stable condition, police said. The shooting appeared to have occurred in the car park after the victims were at a local business, police said.

Houthi rebel missile claims at least 17 lives
A ballistic missile fired by Yemen's Houthi rebels on Saturday killed at least 17 people, including a 5-year-old girl, in a government-held city, officials said. The missile hit a petrol station in the Rawdha neighborhood in the central city of Marib, a representative of the provincial governor said. The country's information minister, Moammar al-Iryani, said the attack killed at least 17 people and wounded at least five others. All casualties were civilians, he said.
