Exhibition hall opens to explore photovoltaic development in Shaanxi
LONGi Green Energy Exhibition Hall, a LONGi Green Energy Technology Co project, officially opened to the public on May 27 in Xi’an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.
The exhibition hall covers an area of about 3,000 square meters, including a visiting area, a VIP reception room, a multi-function release hall and other places.
According to Zhong Baoshen, chairman of LONGi Green Energy Technology Co, in the future, the exhibition hall will serve as an exchange center for the photovoltaic industry's latest technology, as well as provide a good place to educate students and the wider public about photovoltaic power.
"We hope to make great contributions to Shaanxi's high-quality development and ecological growth through our efforts," the chairman said.
"As the advocator, practitioner and leader of global clean energy, we are looking forward to pursuing our own development while driving more industry participants and the public to use green low-carbon energy," said Li Zhenguo, president of the company.
Since its establishment 21 years ago, the company has continued to lead in industrial development, contributing to the growing concept of green development and the promotion of the low-carbon energy revolution.
In 2020, the company's silicon wafer capacity was 58.15 gigawatts which is equivalent to the installed capacity of 2.6 Three Gorges Hydroelectric Power Stations, saving 23.38 billion kilograms of standard coal, reducing carbon dioxide by 57.72 billion kg and planting 3.14 billion trees.
