World Intelligent Driving Challenge held in Tianjin

The World Intelligent Driving Challenge (WIDC) was held at Happy Valley in Tianjin's Dongli district from May 21-23.

As part of the World Intelligent Congress (WIC2017) that opened on Thursday, the event aims to present a superior on-site demonstration of smart driving that brings people a greater sense of technology and experience.

Focusing on the driving challenges of autonomous vehicles, the WIDC competition includes self-driving, smart-aided driving and information security.

The WIDC invited 27 competing teams from international companies, universities, colleges and research institutes.
