IAEA may no longer get nuclear site images
Iran's parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf has said the International Atomic Energy Agency may no longer be given access to surveillance images of the Islamic republic's nuclear sites, as a three-month deadline expired on Saturday. The agency said its director-general was expected to brief reporters on Sunday later in Vienna. Under what is called an Additional Protocol with Iran, the agency "collects and analyzes hundreds of thousands of images captured daily by its sophisticated surveillance cameras", the agency said in 2017. Later on Sunday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that Iran will continue nuclear talks in Vienna until a final agreement is reached.

Thousands flee city after volcano erupts
About 3,000 people fled the Democratic Republic of the Congo's eastern city of Goma for neighboring Rwanda on Sunday as lava from a volcanic eruption reached the airport of the city. The evacuation plan for Goma has been activated, said government spokesman Patrick Muyaya after an emergency government meeting to discuss the situation. The Nyiragongo volcano, which overlooks the city of Goma and is not far from the country's border with Rwanda, started to erupt on Saturday. Electricity across much of Goma was cut off.
